For now, if open up a gnome-terminal window and "cd /tmp", and then press "Ctrl Shift T" to open up another terminal tab within the same gnome-terminal window, then the new terminal tab's working directory is "~", not "/tmp".
Previously, if write the following command in the "~/.bashrc" then the new gnome-terminal tabs can stay in the same folder
if [ -e /etc/profile.d/vte.sh ]; then
. /etc/profile.d/vte.sh
fi
But recently after upgrading Arch Linux , the above method is invalid.
How to solve this problem ?
