Cannot update new installation [SOLVED]

Hi,

I get a strange pacman error when running pacman -Syu

:: Synchronizing package databases...
core is up to date
extra is up to date
community is up to date
error: url '1/1.db' is invalid
error: failed to update 1 (invalid url for server)
error: failed to synchronize all databases

the file /var/lib/pacman/sync/1.db is there

I use reflector to populate the mirrorlist

I can download packages using pacman if I copy the community.db to 1.db, but I can't update

I also can't find anything on what 1.db is supposed to be

Re: Cannot update new installation [SOLVED]

Please post your pacman.conf - that's likely where the error is.  But also post the output of `pacman -v -Syu`.

I have no idea, I'm not sure why it's there

Re: Cannot update new installation [SOLVED]

that looks like it's for an i3 config file or something and I echoed it to the wrong file

Re: Cannot update new installation [SOLVED]

Well, you are the only person that could have put it there. It certainly doesn't ship like that...
