XFCE4-ScreenSaver doesnt work after a sleep/resume

hey all,

does anyone use xfce4 with xfce4-screensaver?

with my laptop it only seems to work correctly if the laptop hasnt gone to sleep, once it has sleept it will not work again once it wakes until a reboot.

I can evoke the screensaver as many times manually as i want or leave it to auto engage after 5 minutes of inactivity but as soon as the laptop has a nap the screensaver will not auto engage or start if i press the hotkey or click lock.

can anyone please assist with diagnosing and resolving the issue? Thanks

EDIT : i should also add that the laptop is not locked when its woken up from sleep even though its set to lock as soon as the screensaver is engaged.

Re: XFCE4-ScreenSaver doesnt work after a sleep/resume

Not sure if related, but I had the issue of running 2 screensavers when the, apparently now built-in with xfce-4.14 came, so I needed to disable my xscreensaver. Otherwise I did run into issues like not being able to type the password in the password-box of xfce4-screensaver when trying to unlock.
