Hi,
I have a weird issue with Gnome: everytime it is updated, it restores old extensions I uninstalled. I have to uninstall them again by removing each directory in /usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions and restart Gnome. The extensions I do want to keep are in ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions.
How is Gnome able to restore the uninstalled extensions? How can I prevent this?

Do you have gnome-shell-extensions installed from the Arch repo? If so, then you should probably remove that package. I only install extensions from the gnome-shell extension website. The ones from the website go into .local/share whereas the package extensions go into /usr/share.

Uninstalling gnome-shell-extensions fixed the issue, thanks!
