Hi All,
I updated my system today and something seems to have gone wrong. Whenever there is a change in the screen (scrolling, typing, etc) the pixels are all funky, after a few seconds they tend to settle. Same setup worked fine until the update.
See this image for an example: https://imgur.com/a/RQY1nk5
I looked at this thread https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=236405 but I don't have an /etc/drirc directory.
Some info from screenfetch if it's at all useful:
OS: Arch Linux
Kernel: x86_64 Linux 5.2.9-arch1-1-ARCH
Resolution: 3840x1080
DE: XFCE4
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon Vega Graphics @ 8x 3.6GHz [27.2°C]
GPU: AMD/ATI Raven Ridge [Radeon Vega Series / Radeon Vega Mobile Series]Last edited by rigers (2019-08-27 15:27:04)

See whether one of the changes to compositor configuration outlined here helps: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=248388
Also more generally, what does update today mean for you? How long didn't you update? SHould you not find a solution in the linked thread, post your pacman.log and a
sudo journalctl -bwhile reproducing the issue.

Update means
pacman -SyuLast time I updated was July 29th.
I installed an external GPU and the problem is gone. I will try the solution in the link at some point.

Turning off compositor as mentioned in https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=248388 fixed the problem.
Even with the external GPU I noticed the close, minimize window bar was not showing. Turning off compositor fixed that too.
