[SOLVED] Stuck on Reached target Graphical Interface screen

Hey guys!

I've bought a laptop with Ubuntu previously installed on it. I'm trying to install Arch Linux but I'm having a hard time to solve this problem on the installation. The screen freezes on “Reached target Graphical Interface”. The laptop video card is NVIDIA® MX150. The solutions I found in the forum are not applicable to my problem. Below there's a list on which point of the installation I am right now:

1. Created an bootble device - OK;
2. Boot from it - OK;
3. Hit the option "Boot Arch Linux (x86_64)" on Arch Linux screen menu - OK;
4. System freezes on starting “OK Reached target Graphical Interface”  :'(

I'm not trying dual boot, I just need the Arch Linux system on my laptop only. What could I do to solve this?

Re: [SOLVED] Stuck on Reached target Graphical Interface screen

As far as I can tell, archlinux-br just directs you to the English iso, which boots into multi-user target (and doesn't even have a graphical interface). If you really did download archlinux-2019.08.01-x86_64.iso (MD5: e61fa65a87fe92f6fe506ce210036898), then I can only assume you somehow copied the wrong ISO to your bootable device. If you managed to find an iso on archlinux-br that boots into a graphical mode, you'll need to ask the archlinux-br community for support as we don't know anything about that.

Re: [SOLVED] Stuck on Reached target Graphical Interface screen

You're right! I created an bootable USB based on a wrong .iso file by mistake. Thank you!
