wierd white frame around notifications

I have recently installed arch linux and choose to install the xfce desktop environment. There is a white frame around all the notifications including brightness/volume indicator when using the fn keys. Is there a way to fix this?

nevermind, solved the problem by going to Settings > Notifications and choosing the theme from there
