Trouble Installing tyrone-compton

Hello and thanks for reading.

I've read every post that has "compton" in the title and I think my issue is not covered in any of them.

I have been trying to get tyrone-compton installed (from this source: https://github.com/tryone144/compton) for some time now. I have attempted this via git clone from the source and then makepkg -is as well as installing via yay -a compton

Both produce the same error message:
