Zen Kernel and Feral Gamemode

I have the linux-zen and nvidia-dkms installed, I play a lot of DotA II and CS:GO is it worth installing Gamemode from Feral or zen already tweaks the system to use max performances for the games ?

For what I know, ZEN sources and Feral's GameMode are two different things, speaking about gaming.
I tried out both ZEN and GameMode, sadly I don't see improvements at all with one or other approach...
Btw, you could try GameMode first. Be sure to tweak settings according to your needs+HW!
