trouble with ./configure (qt-mt)

whent I try install any "KDE" aplication from source codes and I write ./configure then my console write this message:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.3 and < 4.0) (library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!

My Qt version is : qt-3.3.6-3 and KDE 3.5.4

Do you have pkgconfig installed ?
