[Solved] Storing passwords for Thunderbird

Is it recommended to let Thunderbird save passwords? I'm afraid Thunderbird stores passwords in plain text.

I have a few email accounts configured, and I have to write their password every time I log in. What is the recommended way to store the passwords?

What is the recommended way to store the passwords?

Thanks. I tried seahorse, and it works well. I still have to copy the password to Thunderbird, though; is there a way to integrate it?

There's a Thunderbird Add-On called GNOME Keyring integration. YMMV.
