ArchLinux fresh install - systemd services timing out

I have a fresh installation of ArchLinux with Gnome DE. After I boot the system, I get to the Gnome login screen where after entering my login details, the screen freezes with only the default background, after cca. 30s, the screen turns black and after another cca. 2-3 min, I get logged in. After this, most of the systemd services (Locale Service, Location Lookup Service, Hostname Service) fail to start due to timeouts. Every time I try to execute anything with sudo, the process seem to hang infinitely.
