How to apply patch for abiword flickering
I have encountered the flickering problem of abiword. Wiki does not really say anything. I don't like abiword-gtk2 oldish design so I would like to fix the installed package. This patch seems to be a solution for somebody, but there are no instructions of what package to actually build. Building of abiword-git does not seem to be working. How can I apply the patch?

Download the patch and the abiword package sources (by hand or eg. using asp), move into the directory w/ the PKGBUILD and run "patch < /path/to/abiword-fix-flickering-v2.diff"
Then build the package.
Also please edit your post and adjust the subject, your question has actually nothing to do w/ abiword.

Building of abiword-git does not seem to be working.
It builds normally and it's working.
Rules for problems.
Everyone has problems. Animals have problems. And buildings. And cats, and trees.
Problems are your friends. Treat them well.
