[SOLVED] Stuttering in games

Hello, I'm a complete amateur who somehow managed to install Arch on his Optimus laptop and the Nvidia drivers (that was easy truth be told). My problem is that games present a kind of cycling stuttering where they run very slowly for some seconds and then at full speed (and even faster at instances). What may be the cause of this? Thanks for any help.

Ok, all I had to do was follow this guide and the stuttering is gone.
