Eye of gnome - Error on deleting image, couldn't access wastebasket.

Hi,

This error message occurs when pressing the delete button (or right click -> move to wastebasket).

I've done some googling but results are showing issues with NTFS or VFAT partitions.  In my case the files are simply mounted on my home directory ext4.

phone richard $ pwd
/home/richard/pictures/phone

phone richard $ findmnt -T . 
TARGET SOURCE    FSTYPE OPTIONS
/      /dev/sda5 ext4   rw,relatime

Some also suggested checking permissions on the Trash directory, but looks find to me:

~ richard $ cd ~/.local/share/Trash/

Trash richard $ ls -ld . 
drwx------ 5 richard richard 4.0K Dec 10  2018 ./

Trash richard $ ls -l 
total 60K
drwx------ 2 richard richard 4.0K Sep  7 22:45 expunged/
drwx------ 2 richard richard  24K Sep  7 22:45 files/
drwx------ 2 richard richard  28K Sep  7 22:45 info/

Any suggestions on how to proceed with this would be appreciated.
