Laptop gets stuck after connecting external devices

Hey guys,

I have a very weird error that is causing me some inconvenience. I am working on my laptop and when I connect an external input device, such as bluetooth headphone or the wireless mouse receiver, then it gets stucks during several seconds and I cannot interact with it. It's like kind of timeout that is waiting for something.

These are the kernel logs when connecting the wireless mouse receiver:

And these are the kernel logs when I turn on the bluetooth headphones. In this case I also must wait for 2 minutes to work with the laptop normally since it doesn't respond to keystrokes or to any interaction with the environment (KDE Plasma). After that 2 minutes I can work with it normally:

sep 11 18:05:18 turing rtkit-daemon[749]: Supervising 4 threads of 1 processes of 1 users.

It is also noteworthy that when it happens I see these two programs occupying most of the CPU:

550 root 20 0 268988 64680 42804 R 61,7 0,4 2:42.08 Xorg

It is really annoying because connecting the bluetooth headphones implies that I cannot use the laptop for at least two minuts. In the case of the wireless mouse receiver I just need to wait several seconds, as commented before. I'd be very grateful if someone could give me a hand with this

Re: Laptop gets stuck after connecting external devices

Likely the same underlying issue as https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=249059 if you can't wait for a update/patch maybe a downgrade of the relevant systemd libsystemd and systemd-sysvcompat might be useful.

Re: Laptop gets stuck after connecting external devices

Not sure if a downgrade would help. That is something that happens to me for 2 years approx
