Surround sound set to headphone mode
Hi,
first of all I'm sorry if there are some grammatical mistakes in this post, I'm german and just 15, it's a long way to go with english ^^. I have a little problem with my surround sound system. After i've followed the instructions on the arch wiki on how to get a 5.1 system to work (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pu … to_5.1+2.0) I realised that the the two speakers in the back don't give output. The rest seems to work flawlessly. When I tried the soundcheck where every single output gets played I realised that the speakers in the front give the output the 2 in the back should give, but not as loud as normal. After some researches on google I realised, that the surround sound system somehow gets recognised (or at least gets input) a 5.1 headset should get, in which the 5.1 is just a simulation from a 2.1 system.
My question is how do I change the settings so that the surround sound system gets recognised as a surround system.

Do you see all outputs with alsamixer?
I possess a device, in my pocket, that is capable of accessing the entirety of information known to man.
I use it to look at funny pictures of cats and to argue with strangers.

device.icon_name = "audio-card"btw, I read the second output and I think it would be good to mention, that whilst I typed the commands in the console I was using the standart 2.0 profile not my 5.1 profile, because the 5.1 profile not loud enough for the daily drive
