I am using systemd-networkd to manage a simple dhcp wired connection. I found that upon updating to systemd-243.0-1 and a reboot changed my adapter's MAC address. Have others found this to be the case?
EDIT:
Confirmed on several machines now:
1) Simple dhcp wired network machine
2) Bridge configuration also using dhcp.

If your MacAddressPolicy is set to persistent I would assume it is a bug with systemd or the kernel no matter what:

Per default this is set in /usr/lib/systemd/network/99-default.link
Does the new MAC persist between reboots? Does it match to any vendor?
Sorry, I can't properly answer your request myself right now, but I am curious.

The new MAC does persist between reboots. When I lookup the new MAC assigned to the physical adapters, they do come back to the vendor of the motherboard.

Maybe this change is related? You could maybe choose a naming scheme and add it to the kernel commandline (e.g. net.naming-scheme=v241) or use udev drop-ins. Then systemd changes should not affect you until you manually change the scheme.
