[SOLVED] Xfce menu: how to disable drag-and-drop behaviour

If i open the xfce menu and then drag an item in the menu with my left mouse button (which happens by accident every now and then) a drag-and-drop functionality appears, so you can drag the application somewhere to create a shortcut. Is there a way to disable that? I can't find anything in the xfce documentation about this.

Re: [SOLVED] Xfce menu: how to disable drag-and-drop behaviour

Someone at forum.xfce.org created a patch and enhancement request to make the drag and drop behaviour optional:

https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?pid=54698#p54698

I have not tested it yet but I will mark the current topic as solved.
