dbus session not starting up [solved]

hi there!

installed a clean arch system with gnome....

then I use "exec dbus-launch --exit-with-session /opt/gnome/bin/gnome-session" in my .xinitrc but dbus doesn't work

I mean, it DOES start up, but it doesn't create any entry in the /tmp directory, causing applications to fail with the error "Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-c2TVYkyXKU: Connection refused"

I've tryed with both the user and the root, starting dbus at hand, but in NEVER creates an entry in the /tmp directory

any hint?

diid u add dbus to the DAEMONS list in rc.conf?

There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)

solved it by rebooting (ohhhh dear... windows way ) thank you
