[SOLVED] can't install kde-applications or switch tty (VirtualBox)

Hello everyone!

I installed Arch Linux today on a Virtual Machine and I wanted to install KDE Plasma. So, i ran pacman -Syu and after it updated I ran pacman -S plasma and pacman -S sddm.
Thing is, the DE and the Window Manager did install, but I had no tools, since i forgot to install kde-applications. So I tried to open a Terminal but I couldn't find it, so I used the built-in "Run Command", which also didn't work. I tried to install the VirtualBox Guest Additions disc in case it had something helpful but another problem is that the File Manager is not installed. The Discover app works, but it doesn't find any sources anywhere and for that reason it also doesn't find any apps.

Anyway, I don't have any apps, and if i try to enter the combination used to switch to a terminal session to install kde-applications my Ubuntu changes session, but that is a bit expected. Can anyone tell me how to fix all this or how to change sessions via VirtualBox? I am not really willing to reinstall the OS since it is the 3rd time I installed it today. Thank you for your help.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
