I have recently installed arch linux. I have lts kernal and nvidia-lts nvidia-utils and nvidia-settings installed. I have low fps in every game. When I do "LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 glxinfo | grep OpenGL | grep string" i get the output "OpenGL vendor string: VMware, Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: llvmpipe (LLVM 8.0, 128 bits)
OpenGL core profile version string: 3.3 (Core Profile) Mesa 19.1.7
OpenGL core profile shading language version string: 3.30
OpenGL version string: 3.1 Mesa 19.1.7
OpenGL shading language version string: 1.40
OpenGL ES profile version string: OpenGL ES 3.0 Mesa 19.1.7
OpenGL ES profile shading language version string: OpenGL ES GLSL ES 3.00" i dont know why it says VMware when it should something like nvidia cooperation.
I have "Section "Device"
Identifier "Nvidia Card"
Driver "nvidia"
VendorName "NVIDIA Corporation"
BoardName "GeForce GTX 1060 6GB"
EndSection" inside of /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-nvidia.conf
pls help me

LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1
Please explain.

Because you're not using the nvidia driver.
Post your complete journal ("sudo journalctl -b") and the xorg log.

i just saw the command in a forum post about low fps and tried it and saw it said vmware

That's not an xorg log and the journal is capped after like 20 lines.

However from the little you posted, this could be an optimus system and you're using the intel IGP, but that's pure speculation at this point.
If you don't enforce software rendering, glxinfo might also revela that.
@Swiggles, the export is nonsense, but it should also be completely ignored by the nvidia blob.

The logs are incomplete. There should be a lot more. Also please give the output of

I am asking, because this forces software rendering according to the docs and this is completely orthogonal to using a GPU.

At least the nvidia driver is used. But what concerns me are the following messages:

Sep 22 17:16:21 elwolf-battlestation kernel: nvidia_drm: Unknown symbol drm_framebuffer_cleanup (err -22)

...Which looks like an invalid (wrong version) shared library. I can't tell though, maybe some nvidia expert could give a proper answer.

No optimus, but this is still not an Xorg log, please bother to read the link I posted.
Also try the main kernel, I'd say 435.21 doesn't presently support the 4.19.xx kernel. Don't forgt to install the nvidia package.
Why are you using the lts kernel itfp?

Stupid youtube tutorials are not supported here for that exact reason: they're stupid.

i'll consult the wiki whenever i need anything instead of youtube
but how should i go about fixing this

Install linux and nvidia. Rebuild initram and reconfigure your boot loader.
If you don't want to keep them, uninstall the lts kernel and drivers once it is running again .

By reading the wiki.
Because you followed a <swearing here> youtube tutorial, you do not even know how to install a kernel. At this point you're completely unequipped to use archlinux.
You need to go back to square one and follow the proper approach to not hit a wall on every other turn.
Then try the main kernel and also provide the actual Xorg log, as requested twice.

i uninstalled lts kernal and nvidia-lts and installed nvidia and now everything works

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
nb. that you can have multiple kernels installed and there's a benefit in keeping the lts kernel around in case a regression in the main kernel eg. prevents you from booting at all or similar.
