I'm running one monitor into my Video Card with DisplayPort and another with HDMI. However xrandr's output shows HDMI as disconnected:

HDMI-A-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DVI-D-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)This monitor setup works out of the box on windows 10, so no hardware issues. I am using the AMDGPU driver with a Radeon RX 580 card. What can I try to fix this?
Thanks!

Please post the output of dmesg and your xorg log. You can use https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pastebin to feed dmesg directly into a pastebin.

There no kernel errors and no weirdness in the xorg log.
=> Did you check because of Windows "Fast-Start"?
Otherwise try passing "amdgpu.dc=0 amdgpu.audio=0 amdgpu.dpm=0 amdgpu.aspm=0 amdgpu.runpm=0 amdgpu.bapm=0" to the kernel. (dc is the "new" Display Core driver, audio should be obvious, the rest is powersaving stuff)

Windows Fast-Start was disabled, so I tried those kernel boot parameters and it worked! I'm not sure I understand why but it's solved. Thank you so much!

You should try which of them in particular is the critical one (though the PM might only act in toto)
This will hint on what's the actual problem here.
