System clock synchronized: no

The time is just not properly set, sync it w/ a timeserver: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sy … ronization

Re: Problem With the time setting ?[SOLVED]

Nothing to do with syncing, the problem is that you've got localtime in the RTC, but the system thinks it's UTC. Syncing is more about keeping things correct as it drifts by a few seconds/minutes.

Re: Problem With the time setting ?[SOLVED]

RTC time: Sat 2019-09-28 14:22:11

but

as my local time 1.30

It's been ~01:30 [Edit: on 9/29] in Kolkata but the RTC is at 14:22 (hwclock will always display the local time)
If the RTC was (correct but) kept in localtime it should show 1:30 and his clock show 7:00.

I could assume that the reverse offset (the 11 hours are certainly confusingly suspicious) stem from a flawed previous attempt to set the time by hand.

An ntp server will provide you w/ the proper time, no matter the local skew. For systems w/ no RTC this would even be a mandatory step on every boot (but those systems would not be covered on this forum ;-)

And yet some ntp client implementations, including the reference implementation, won't sync if the time is too far off. You should understand the time standards and how they're used, then set it correctly before going to NTP.

Re: Problem With the time setting ?[SOLVED]

ntp-once.service, ntpd.service and ntpdate.service all use the "-g" option (which initially ignores the panic gate)
One should™ certainly understand how the time system works but it's apparently very confusing for many people and even if it's not: once you understood how things work you can just as much draw the proper values and apply them automatically instead of typing off your wall clock.

hello Sir , as per you told i did installed connman and started the connman .service but ther is still no change.

is ther any other way as you were explaning the time working i did read the artical suggested by Scimmia. i did understand it to a certain extent but i am not able to comprehend how should i go about it.

narch-music@archmusic ~]$ timedatectl status
Local time: Mon 2019-09-30 12:10:15 IST
Universal time: Mon 2019-09-30 06:40:15 UTC
                 RTC time: Mon 2019-09-30 06:40:16
                Time zone: Asia/Kolkata (IST, +0530)
System clock synchronized: no
              NTP service: inactive
          RTC in local TZ: no
[narch-music@archmusic ~]$ hwclock --show
2019-09-30 12:10:31.389408+05:30

as i read that you mentioned the hwclock shows right time but it is not true in my case as the time when i posting this is 05.40pm or 17.40 ,but non of thr clock metioned above shows it. as well RTC clock is ahead by an hour.

Re: Problem With the time setting ?[SOLVED]

There's obviously a severe language barrier because

as per you told i did installed connman and started the connman .service

Neither me nor the article actually suggest that.

you mentioned the hwclock shows right time

No, I certainly did not.

Please head over to https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewforum.php?id=30 and ask the question in a language that you actually speak. Feel free to refer to this thread and get somebody translate the gist to you.

It is the first in the list of recommendations that you linked to.  I'm not sure it should be there, but it is.

Re: Problem With the time setting ?[SOLVED]

Yeah, but connman is actually a network manager that just happens to have an NTP implementation. If you're not already using connman, it's the wrong choice. One usually wants to use ntp or systemd-timesyncd.
Being on the top of /that/ list (I though "alphabetically", but that's not the case) is less than ideal, but it's also not very confusing from the context either.

there was a problem in understanding the suggestion from you , i have did understand what you ment in the explination you provide to inspector.i would recheck everything.and also about the clock thing iam regretful for that.

i did made the changes in /etc/systemd/timesyncd.conf. and uncommented the lines after [Time].After that i did gave following commands.

$sudo timedatectl set-ntp true
$ timedatectl status
narch-music@archmusic ~]$ timedatectl status
Local time: Mon 2019-09-30 20:54:32 IST
Universal time: Mon 2019-09-30 15:24:32 UTC
                 RTC time: Mon 2019-09-30 15:24:32
                Time zone: Asia/Kolkata (IST, +0530)
System clock synchronized: yes
              NTP service: active
          RTC in local TZ: no
[narch-music@archmusic ~]$ hwclock --show
2019-09-30 20:54:44.452017+05:30

all is fine now thanks for all the help and sorry for misunderstanding . you all guys rock !!!
