I can boot to ubuntu fine with Intel HD Graphics 630, but not Arch?

Hello, I have been encountering this weird issue where my VGA port (although my guess it is just an integrated DP adapter on the motherboard because xrandr idenifies it as DP-0 ) works fine in BIOS (when primary display is set in BIOS to CPU Graphics), and in Ubuntu so I can safely say that there is no major hardware fault.

My hardware config is a desktop with a GTX 1060 6GB and Intel i5-7400

I have no idea why this is happening aside from the classic "wrong config file".

To describe this properly. Here is what happens:

I set my primary display device from the BIOS to CPU Graphics and my display comes from the VGA port. Awesome.

I boot to Arch from rEFInd with the changes mentioned, and it appears as though when loading kernel modules appears in systemd, my monitor says "No signal, going to sleep", telling me that the iGPU is being disabled due to something configured wrong, and when I log in (display is from my gfx card) running xrandr shows one display to be connected.

Welcome to the arch linux forums ap4ss3rby.
Have you compared the dmesg and Xorg.logs between Ubuntu and Arch?
