Hello every one,
i have a server running Arch with main disk with an encryption key and a second one for data with a different key, both disk are encrypted with luks and lvm, theres a lvm extend from the first disk to the second, i have the two keys stored on a pen and auto unlocking so i can reboot remotely the server.
Until now it was mounting the disks without a problem today it says it can't find lvm-root and send me to rootfs.
I already understand that if the two disk aren't unencrypted we can not mount the file system, because on mounting the drives to run mkinitcpio i can only see the lvm's if the two disk are unencripted.
any idea how should i solve this?
thanks all in advance.

Either you performed some type of action (update?) that changed something, or, if you did not perform any action, then it's likely a hardware failure. But without more information as to what, if anything, you performed on that system, there isn't much for us to go on. If you search the forums, you'll find that there was a fairly recent LVM issue that got resolved with a later patch/update, but that obviously would only affect you if you performed an update between the time it was working and it broke.
