I've recently upgraded to latest gnome 3.34 and it seems to have broken steam.
There's no crash, but the "popup" windows steam uses when you try to install a game for example will not show. The app still runs but you lose focus on the main window (no clicks no nothing).
At first I thought it was a freeze but when I send a SIGTERM I can see the small window pop up for a split second as the main window dies. I'm sure this is some sort of wayland/gnome/compositor issue.
Everything else seems to work otherwise. Anyone else noticed something similar? I tried both the new beta and the original steam, but since the popup window seems to be same in both it behaves exactly same.

It seems running an upgrade again fixed this. I noticed mesa was among the packages so maybe that was it or the other radeon/driver updates.
