Hi all,
whenever I log in to my cinnamon session (through lightdm), the wallpaper displays (and nothing else) and then I get a black, wallpaper less desktop with icons and the right click context menu working fine; nemo also is working fine and most start up apps launch (steam for example) but the panel does not load for example. executing cinnamon --replace & disown fixes the issue, allowing the desktop to load.
Any ideas what could be going on.
