Hi,
this is my first time installing the Arch Linux. I have no problem so far, until I reach the GUI configuration. I installed `xorgs`, `gnome`, `gdm`, `gnome-extra` and `lxdm`. Then, I enabled the daemon for the `lxdm` package. When I reboot my machine, it started on a black screen. I'm able to enter in the terminal hitting `ctrl+alt+F2` keys.

dmesgand the contents of Xorg.log which can be found in either ~/.local/share/xorg/ or /var/log.

I have no experience with vmware. Have you followed Installing_Arch_as_a_guest#Xorg_configuration?
