Hi, I have recently compiled Kernel 5.4-rc1 with Clang 9.0.
The system works fine (not yet sure, but probably it's performing better), but I can't get a virtual machine installed in Oracle VirtualBox running on the system anymore.
When I try to run a virtual machine (here, a DragonflyBSD virtual machine for example), I get 2 windows. The first window says:
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine DragonflyBSD.
The virtual machine 'DragonflyBSD' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1 (0x1).
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component: MachineWrap
Interface: IMachine {5047460a-265d-4538-b23e-ddba5fb84976}The second window reminds about:
The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver is either not loaded or not set up correctly. Please try setting it up again by executing
'/sbin/vboxconfig'
as root.
If your system has EFI Secure Boot enabled you may also need to sign the kernel modules (vboxdrv, vboxnetflt, vboxnetadp, vboxpci) before you can load them. Please see your Linux system's documentation for more information.
where: suplibOsInit what: 3 VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED (-1908) - The support driver is not installed. On linux, open returned ENOENT. On my system there's no such file called
vboxconfig inside /sbin/.
Also, when I try to run:
dkms install vboxhost/6.0.12_OSE -k 5.4.0-rc1The output is:
Kernel preparation unnecessary for this kernel. Skipping...
Building module:

make -j4 KERNELRELEASE=5.4.0-rc1 -C /usr/lib/modules/5.4.0-rc1/build M=/var/lib/dkms/vboxhost/6.0.12_OSE/build...(bad exit status: 2)
Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel: 5.4.0-rc1 (x86_64)
Consult /var/lib/dkms/vboxhost/6.0.12_OSE/build/make.log for more information. Is there any way to fix it without installing any other kernel?
