Set up Arch Linux with bcache support

Hello everyone this is my first post and I hope this is in the right section since I am a newbie. big_smile

I switched from ubuntu to Arch on a VM on my desktop PC and decided, that I like Arch and made a plan to install it on my notebook as well.

Today I tried to set up Arch Linux on my notebook, it has a small 16GB Intel Optane SSD and I wanted to use it as a bcache device.
I know how to set up bcache and how to make it work but I don't know how to get the bcache-tools from the AUR.
Well I know how to get them but I cannot use makepkg since I am logged in as root.
I created another user but I don't know how to switch the user.
I tried rebooting but after the boot process I am automatically logged in as root... I didn't find anything on the internet.

Switch to another TTY and enter that user's name and password.
