power of display after x minutes [Solved]

Hi

How can I configure that my display is turned off after x minutes without mouse or kexboard action, and wake up when I press a key or move the mouse?

Have you tried to turn it off and on again?

Re: power of display after x minutes [Solved]

I have "xset dpms 60 &" in my ~/.xinitrc

The screen gets blanked after 60 seconds of inactivity.

You can also add Option "DPMS" to your Monitor section in xorg.conf and OffTime "60" to the ServerLayout section. I think.  Google can confirm.
