During installation, wifi was easy to set up using netctl. But after booting into the newly installed system, there seem to be some issues.
I have the Realtek RTL8822BE adapter, which I thought was natively supported by the kernel. lspci -k shows that it uses the kernel driver rtwpci.
dmesg | grep rtw gives the following output:
rtw_pci 0000:02:00.0: Direct firmware load for rtw88/rtw8822b_fw.bin failed with error -2
rtw_pci 0000:02:00.0: failed to request firmware
rtw_pci 0000:02:00.0: failed to load firmware
rtw_pci 0000:02:00.0: failed to setup chip efuse info
rtw_pci 0000:02:00.0: failed to setup chip information
rtw_pci: probe of 0000:02:00.0 failed with error -22Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Which command did you pass to pacstrap? https://www.archlinux.org/news/base-gro … -required/
You will likely need to install linux-firmware (it's only optional because there are systems where it isn't required)

Welcome to Arch Linux.
Most likely you forgot to install the linux-firmware package. Then you'll have to choose and install your network manager as well. Also check if you need some of the optional dependencies when installing a package (e.g. wpa_supplicant for netctl).

Thank you both so much! Can't believe it was so simple.
