Image printing on Brother printer: OOM issues (Works in Windows)

Hello everybody!

I've been struggling for a while printing images with my Brother DCP-9010CN printer in Linux.
Every now and then the printer beeps and says "Out Of Memory" when I'm trying to print pages containing images.

Printing an image on a full A4 page is absolutely impossible.

However, this all works fine in Windows, so there must be some issue with how the OS communicates with the printer.
I have tried both the AppSocket, IPP and LPD protocols, but it does not seem to matter.

I just don't know what else to try. Any ideas anyone?

Basically lower the resolution.

Note: You should add installed drivers and related logs to your post, there are some really knowledgeable people that have experience with the printers who might be able to help you further.
