Thunar - symlink - use physical directory structure

Hallo,
when i follow/enter a symlink to a folder in Thunar i'm relative to my current path:

Like this:

user@host:~$ ln -s /bin foobar
user@host:~$ cd -L foobar
user@host:~/foobar$

How can i get into the physical path instead?

user@host:~$ cd -P foobar
user@host:/bin$

I'm talking about Thunar. Bash example is just for illustration.
