Hello,
I just recently switched back to Arch Linux, but I'm encountering a problem I did have in my last installation--my download speed is atrocious.
Here's a bandwidth test:

As you can see, it's really slow. And, this isn't just on Firefox. I also tried downloading the Linux kernel (it was the first good-sized file that I could think of) with wget, and it was still really slow.
I have DSL, and I download on average at 160 KBps to 190 KBps, but with Arch, it downloads very slowly. (~40KBps).
How would I go about fixing this problem? This has never happened to me before in Fedora, Gentoo, Ubuntu, or my previous installation of Arch Gimmick.
If you need me to post the contents of a file, I will gladly do so.
Regards,
Harold

Here Arch is maxing out my network pipe (pretty much as Windows or any other Linux distro I've tried), so it's either a network interface issue or a PEBKAC issue.

From my experience, I'd say it's your ISP... wait a bit and see if it goes away.

Alright, thanks for the info.
I'll restart my modem and machine, and see if anything differs from that.
