I deleted my AUR package to correct a mistake and it's stuck in limbo

I accidentally made my initial commit including some personally identifying information that I did not want to make public, so I deleted the AUR package with the intention of immediately creating it again. I did not realize the git repo would persist. The package was only around for a few minutes. How can I restart from scratch?

Short answer: you can't.

Long answer: You may be able to appeal to a TU (ask in #archlinux-aur on IRC, or the aur-general mailing list) for them to remove the repo and/or remove the confidential information. I think there was a couple of cases where TUs have removed accidentally submitted private information, but I don't think this is a standard request.
