Transfer video to iPod??

Hi,
I have a 30Gb iPod video.  Is there a way to transfer video to it under Arch??

look at ipodlinux.

Mplayer/mencoder, ffmpeg and gtkpod are among the tools you'll need and just a pacman -S away.  I don't own an ipod and you now know more than me.

This doesn't help. I used dvdrip to copy the video from the DVD onto my hard drive. It was encoded as several .vob files.  Gtkpod sees these as 'file type unknown'.

I looked at ipodlinux but that is a complete operating system for an ipod and teh ipod video isn't properly supported as yet.  All I want to do is transfer some video to the ipod.
