Can't connect to wireless network through iw

I'm following the wiki on wireless network set up manually with iw
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ne … ice_driver

I found my network and my interface but there's a password on my wireless network and I have no idea how to enter that in with iw.

I tried iw dev "interface" connect "network" but it doesn't work. I'm using the SSID in the "network" placeholder.

Re: Can't connect to wireless network through iw

As mentioned in the very article, if your connection uses WEP (it shouldn't) then you might be able to do so with iw. If you use the reccommended WPA instead you need to use wpa_supplicant or iwd instead.

All of this is literally in that article if you read just a little further then stopping at the first command.

Mod note: Not a networking issue, moving to NC
