automatic idle lock not working on i3 with xss-lock

Hi,

I'm struggling to get automatic lock to work with xss-lock.

I'm starting xss-lock with the command.

xss-lock -v -- i3lock -c 000000

which basically capable of locking the system as I checked with a simple loginctl lock-session.

My dpms setting are the following:

xset q
Keyboard Control:
auto repeat: on key click percent: 0 LED mask: 00000000

DPMS (Energy Star):
  Standby: 600 Suspend: 600 Off: 600
  DPMS is Enabled
  Monitor is On

However, nothing happens after idling for 10 minutes. How can I check what is preventing auto-lock?
