Hi, all. I've got systemsettings crash after the full system upgrade when I try to open such as "night light" or try to change the render backend. When try to start systemsetting5 in konsole, I got the output like this:
QQmlEngine::setContextForObject(): Object already has a QQmlContext

Does anyone know how to fix it ?

Did you restart your system/KDE yet? Both of these work for me, but you should reinitialize your KDE session after big updates like this.

Yes, I tried restarting the system and also reinstall & reinitialize plasma . However still didn't work…

Finally solved this problem by removing the . config directory… that's really strange…

I know this is marked as solved (unfortunately), but for some people who are also seeing this issue, simply removing their .config directory isn't an option. I'm also getting this crash when trying to access ANYTHING under Display settings other than the default screen.
Can anyone identify which .config file might be causing this problem?

Here's the associated kde bug report:

Looks like kcmutils-5.64 is needed to fix the problem.

I tried again with the former settings ( all are done again manually) and found that the plasma theme kcm-colorful with a dark color set causes the crash. When changing the theme to breeze dark or use kvantum with arc-dark the system settings doesn't crash any more.
But I'm not sure which package is associated.
