[SOLVED] AUR package archives

Hi everyone,
I need to install an old version of an AUR package. For example, where can I find an old version of the vivaldi package (in AUR)? Can not find anything in https://github.com/aur-archive.
Thanks for your time.

Every AUR package page has a 'view changes' link in the information box on the right-hand side.

Mod note: moving to AUR Issues.

Re: [SOLVED] AUR package archives

Thanks for the fast answer. So I guess there is not tar.xz archives for any changes, only commits on a git repo?
I have seen that I can download tar.gz files, can I make a tar.xz file from them and install them with pacman?

Re: [SOLVED] AUR package archives

The .tar.gz is a snapshot of the latest version of the PKGBUILD.
Clone the git version of the package then checkout the older version you want or modify the PKGBUILD to use an older version of the source.
Then build the package with makepkg then pacman can install the resultant package.

There are no pkg.tar.xz files available for *anything* in the AUR.  You build the package from the PKGBUILD recipe available in the AUR.  The old 'recipes' are just as available as the current ones.
