pulseaudio-xfce-plugin freezes if i use keyboard volume keys.

I am using a keyboard with with dedicated media control keys, and it seems like when I made the switch to xfce from kde, the xfce-pulseaudio-plugin did not configure itself correctly. I double checked and saw that the keys worked fine in the standard plasma and kde-applications install, while it is not a complete productivity killer, being able to retain xfce, and having quick functional audio control would be nice, thanks in advance if any of u can help.

Re: pulseaudio-xfce-plugin freezes if i use keyboard volume keys.

I am experiencing a similar issue, on XFCE version 4.14, kernel 5.3.7. The volume keys don't work, but the plugin does... until I press them. Once I press a volume key, the plugin freezes up, and won't show anything to me when I click it. After a bit, it will load.

My brightness keys are also not really working, there is a long delay and sometimes they do not change anything at all. I wonder if it's related?
