No sound playing in Firefox

Hello Archlinux Forums,

I'm wanting to play a game on Firefox using Flash Player (I installed

flashplugin

) but there's no sound coming through my monitor. I've tried to look at the Troubleshooting section of Firefox and Pulseaudio and I don't know what to do as nothing seems to help me.

I'm using HDMI for video and audio output.

I've had this problem for a while, until I noticed that Firefox regularly mutes itself in Pavucontrol.
One cause of it muting itself is turning down the volume of a youtube video to 0%

OrakMoya thanks! I spent a half of hour searching why firefox stopped playing audio after update and it was muted in Pavucontrol
