Arch Linux on Lenovo ThinkPad T590

Hi all,
Does anybody have experience installing Arch Linux on this machine? It seems to me that after I install arch linux, the system couldn't detect arch linux and boot it although I install grub and everything. Only when I try to install Ubuntu alongside could I see Arch Linux. Otherwise, I couldn't boot into the system. I don't know if I miss any step in when install it (I just follow the arch wiki page). I just notice that the base package now is different. That's why I have a feeling that I might need to do something else. Can anybody give me some hints?

What boot loader and how did you install it? Is secure boot disabled?

During installation did you check if your computer uses UEFI?

Hi, I didn't check it. I usually skip this step. Is it necessary?

If you actually know that you are booting into UEFI/BIOS respectively, no. Since you seem to be unsure of either, yes it is required to know what you are actually doing and what you're supposed to be doing. Which exact GRUB command did you use?
