[SOLVED] My VM loads the EFI Shell instead of GRUB

Hello everyone!

I am relatively new to Arch Linux (a month of use) and I want to install it on a PC with Windows 10 to Dual Boot. I know the steps to do so I tried it on a Virtual Machine. For some reason, instead of loading GRUB to boot Arch it gets me to the EFI Shell where I have to run GRUB manually. I have followed the official installation guide. I need help to make it automatically load GRUB. I've noticed this issue on VMs with only Arch too.

Thanks for your help!

Are you using VirtualBox?

If so have you read this...

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
