I have two systems (one at home, one at work) both running Arch. I use a bluetooth keyboard on both systems. Recently, I noticed that on the home system the keyboard is taking a while to wake up. If I got 8-10 minutes without using it, there's a several-second delay before it reconnects and starts providing input again.
Yesterday, I updated the work system after about a month without an update. Since this included a kernel update, I restarted the system. After restarting, I noticed the same behavior on the work system! The keyboard took several seconds before sending keypresses.
The fact that this behavior changed right after doing an update makes me suspect that it may be a software change. I have changed the batteries in the keyboard just in case it's a battery issue, but no change in behavior.
Anything I should try?

Try downgrading just the kernel to see if that was the cause?
If not post the pacman.log for the update. Do the systems use TLP, Laptop Mode Tools or other power management software?

I'm running the Cinnamon DE, and all I use for power management is the built-in power management in Cinnamon.
I don't have the time for a kernel downgrade right now, so I'll have to defer that for a later day. Thanks for your suggestion!
