When restarting from KDE, computer doesn't boot

When I let my computer reboot from KDE (Log Out -> Restart Computer), my computer doesn't boot. It hangs at the screen where I can press F2 for the BIOS settings. When I shut the computer off and start it, it boots normally.

Anyone know what might be causing this problem, or how I can begin to find out what the actual problem is?

Likely being a BIOS acpi issue. Can you find any bios upgrade from the mainboard vendor site?
