Hi,
Sometimes after wake up from suspend to RAM my Audio (Soundblaster Titanium X-Fi, module snd_ctxfi) is lost and a kill and restart of pulseaudio is needed.
This problem seems to have occured due to an update around august or september.
Linux XXXXX 5.3.7-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Oct 18 00:17:03 UTC 2019 x86_64 GNU/Linux
With the lts-kernel the probmlem occurs too.

Anyone having the same problem?
Thanks

I have the same issue. I just do:
pulseaudio -k
pulseaudio -d
Offline
I do this too but it's only a workaround (not even a good one).
I'd like to find/undertand the cause of the problem.

Same issue here. Been experiencing it for quite a while (couple of months).
Normally I do the workaround "pulseaudio -k" and the issue is fixed.
Don't know what changed for so many of us to have these issues.
Offline
I had a similar problem with Intel audio which has been fixed with latest 5.3 kernel. You could try drm-tip kernel and check if it makes a difference.

I have found this
Offline
Downgraded to Pulseaudio 12.2 and now the propleem seems to have vanished.
