I was trying to use grub-mkrescue, but it fails because it can't find xorriso, on which it depends to make the iso image:
grub-mkrescue: error: xorriso not found.I know that xorriso has been renamed to mkisofs, and I tried creating a symlink to it in /usr/bin, but it still gave me the same error.
Is this a bug or am I simply doing something wrong?

No, it wasn't installed. I installed it and that fixed the issue. Thanks
